Excellent work, Frank. You've stayed closer to Jack's original drawing of Barda's face than Mike did. I guess Mike forgot Kirby's order to never change the faces (lol)! Also, I really like the bold, Kirbyesque details you've added to the two foreground figures, making them a lot more interesting to look at than in your pencilled version, but with enough blacks to add depth to the picture and ensure that they don't draw too much attention away from the main figure. Well done!
Thank you, John. When I penciled this piece I was thinking those foreground figures needed Jacking up--but I let it go for Mike to do his thing. Then when I decided to ink my penciled version I did take some ques from Mike and kicked it up a notch.
I have a friend who is going to do a logo and put some cover dress on there. Maybe Tom can add that tab. Stay tuned.
