Mr Romita, shame on you!

… For tampering with the King's own character and for producing a lesser end product.

Can't zoom in the Miscellaneous tab?

Would it be possible to add such a zoom?

re: can't zoom in miscellaneous tab

Anything is possible. The best solution, in my opinion, would be to have zoom for all the tabs. This maybe a consideration in the future. However I will need to figure out an automated way of processing the images since presently its a manual, time consuming process just to get one Zoomified image added.

time to enlist helpers?

You could post to recruit some volunteers to assist you in the production department.

Were the Changes Necessary?

I'm not sure if the changes were absolutely necessary, but I can see why they would think so. The problem is, if you're going to make art corrections like this, you should always make them in THE PENCIL STAGE, so that when the inker goes in to finish the art, his inking style can do its natural work of blending any disparate stylistic elements into a cohesive whole. With Romita pencilling AND inking the changes on an overlay, the differences in style are just too drastic. And as an aside, I've always been of the opinion that Marie Severin would have been a better choice to make the art corrections at Marvel, since her style was much less obtrusive than Romita's.
