...y'know, if you guys hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have even thought to look too closely at this. But now that you have, I think I might have to be a glory plunderer again. It really doesn't look like Feerless Frankie's handiwork, does it? The only thing is, I'm not even all that certain it's Verpoorten. Could be Jumpin' John Tartaglione for all I know. His style was pretty close to Jumbo Johnny V.'s, but a little looser. Anyone else got any ideas?

This was a great cover, harkening back to Kirby's early pre-marvel/horror daze.
Are the inks Giacoia or Royer? Looks more Royer to me.
and BTW , here Karkas clearly has opposable thumbz!
