If memory doesn't fail me, this is the oldest page of the Fantastic Four that I ever saw!
While I'm not a great fan of Sol Brodsky's work, I have to admit that there are some beautiful strokes in this page when enlarged.
Very funny the comment at the bottom of the page complaining about the heavy copy! Specially when I had to adapt it graphically for a spanish edition...
I'm afraid that I don't keep any of these spanish comics, but even if I did, I have the biggest part of my collection boxed and stored, so I doubt that I could find it or anything else (damn mess and lack of spare time!). Anyway, I'll ask it in the spanish group...
Historical piece!

Fantastic Four origin sequence
Hi Ferran, Do you have a scan of the page from Spanish edition? Maybe it could go in a Miscellaneous tab?

Is that Brodsky scolding Lee
Is that Brodsky scolding Lee , "Heavy Copy for a first page?"
He even punctuates his comment with a "Whew!!"
Early critics of Lee
Yes it looks that way. Didn't Jack say Lee wrote to much copy on the page?
