It took me some time to adjust to Frank Giacoia's inking style but I've been partial to him ever since.
Not as slick as Sinnott, or as faithful (to the pencils) as Royer, Giacoia's inks are looser but incredibly powerful and confident.
I love his work over Kirby… or any other penciller !
I think that anyone following Sinnott's steps would pale in comparation, specially after his peak, and imho, Giacoia was not in his league, even if he was a competent embellisher. Anyway, it's a nice page...
Powerful brush
