Did you know Giacoia was going to ink at least some of the Fourth World? (Pause to hand Krackles a tissue) The very first job Kirby did for DC was Forever People #1. It was held back until after three issues of Olsen but completed first. You can tell because Olsen and Kent are still at the newspaper, and it's the only time Kirby ever drew Olsen in his "cub-reporter uniform" (vest and bow-tie). And Giacoia of course inked the cover of Forever People #1, and was going to ink that issue, but Colletta swept in with a cheap package offer to ink all Kirby's work, and DC went for it.
Great Cover!
The Fourth World stuff was reaching its peak around this time. Love it!
Take Cover…
… As soon as Royer came onboard, the Fourth World titles exploded from all cylinders!
Only Frank Giacoia could have done better… Hinhinhin!
Close, but no Roi-Tan
