Old Glory
Rest In Peace, Joe Simon. We've just lost one of the Greats.
We'll all miss him
I am so said to hear of his loss. I currently reading his book My Life in Comics. Great book and I can't recommend it more. I was fortunate to see him speak at October's NYCC. He grew up in my hometown of Rochester near where my dad grew up. My long gone family from that neighborhood were tailors like his.
And after such a productive life...
...it's great that Joe was finally getting some major recognition in the media for his many accomplishments. With things like the release of the big-budget Captain America movie and the recent news of Titan's S&K Crime volume hitting number five on the New York Times' Bestselling Graphic Novels list, I'm sure he was feeling mighty content in his final days!
